Supporting the growth of the Church in Kalimantan is a huge priority for MAF. Highly subsidized flights make it possible for Indonesian pastors and church leaders to travel to/from church conferences, for fellowship and training. MAF flights also allow them to receive supplies in their remote villages, reach neighboring villages, and plant new churches. The amount needed for this project is $45,000.

MAF’s base in Palangkaraya needs a three-phase power source. This will provide continuous electricity for the hangar and the office. Perhaps more importantly, it prevents the new amphibious KODIAK from being grounded during Kalimantan’s frequent power outages. The amount needed for this project is $15,000.

This tracker provides a constant read-out of an airplane’s altitude, speed, and location— allowing teammates to locate a downed airplane quickly. This provides continued efficiency during times of HF interference. Also, in the unlikely case of an accident, it’s truly a lifeline that makes the difference between life and death. The amount needed for this project is $10,000.

The Congolese church is sending out missionaries to reach neighboring tribes who have yet to hear of Jesus. Local pastors and church leaders are doing outreach in remote villages, and training other pastors who are isolated. Highly subsidized flights for our Congolese brothers and sisters in Christ will enable them to traverse this vast country for these ministry efforts. The amount needed in East DRC is $80,000.

This fund makes it possible for national Lesotho staff to receive training in aircraft maintenance (including recurrent training), avionics, accounting, and basic computer skills. The amount needed for this project is $20,000.

MAF has four Cessna 206s in Lesotho, which keep very busy with medical flights: bringing supplies, medicine, or medical personnel to remote mountain clinics, or answering calls for emergency evacuations. You can help keep the airplanes well-maintained so they can serve the people of Lesotho. The amount needed for this project is $71,996.

MAF partners with other organizations to bring healthcare to three different villages in the Niassa National Reserve, one of the least-served areas in Mozambique. This fund will make flights for doctor teams possible for weekly clinics that serve the people there. The amount needed for this project is $47,522.

The MAF property in Nampula still needs some renovations to provide housing for more MAF staff so that MAF can better serve in Mozambique. And to help thwart crime and provide additional protection, a security fence is needed to surround the area that currently holds three homes—with more to be added in the future. The amount needed for this project is $76,250.

A new coat of paint for one of Haiti’s airplanes won’t just give it a fresh look—corrosion will be removed, future corrosion will be prevented, and the life of the aircraft will be extended. The amount needed for this project is $15,000.

After many flight hours, the propeller on MAF Haiti’s Cessna Caravan, HH-VAN, is due for an overhaul. The amount needed for this project is $10,000.

MAF still needs to raise $120,278 this year towards a hangar building for a unique flight training school in Southeast Asia. The much-needed hangar will shelter aircraft from the hot, tropical climate and the elements, as well as provide a more comfortable area for maintenance training sessions.
